This place seems great; nice pool, nice spa, nice people, and a great location.
Bristol place has a great feel, until the little things start to get to you.
There is very little available parking, which is tolerable if you have one car,
and no friends who want to enjoy your awesome new apartment. Also you cannot enjoy
the nice neighborhood at night, as it is so poorly lit, that it does not feel safe.
There is one central trash location, which is poorly situated by the front gate, so
you have to drive out and back into the gate, if the gate works that is, which is not
true for the majority of the time. With no one to come over, you might be inclined to
just become a hermit, and enjoy your apartment alone. This will be a problem, as your
air conditioner will probably break (ours did). It will probably happen for months on
end (ours did), and you will have to deal with the heat over the weekend (like we did),
because no one actually picks up the "emergency line". The staff will be polite and
professional as they "investigate" the matter (read have someone come up, repeatedly,
never fixing the problem). The staff will make attempts that will fail to the point of
having the inside of your apartment reach the maximum temperature for the thermostat (90 degrees F)
and just hang there, as you wonder just how far above 90, your apartment has gotten.
After denying reimbursement for a hotel, the staff will
empathize with you, thanking you for your patience as they retire to their airconditioned homes.
All this at the low, low price of 1000/month (after you purchase your garage so you can have a visitor over).
