| I lived in this apartment complex from May 2007 to May 2008. The apartment was dirty when I moved in, and the list of problems with the apartment that I turned in with my lease was almost 2 pages long. During my stay there I noticed the management was NEVER in the office - even during the posted hours. Also, during the winter they don't keep up on the snow plowing and snow melting. I had to park my car on a sheet of ice over 2 inches thick for most of the winter. They do leave notices when one of their staff needs to enter your apartment, but when they do come, they do not knock - they just enter. They also asked about lease renewal 6 months before my lease was up. I ignored their first letter because at that point, I wasn't sure if I was going to renew or not (I did not end up renewing). While I was there, laundry was $1.50 for a wash and $1.50 for dry. When my lease was over, it took them the entire 30 day alotment to send the portion of my deposit that was to be returned to me (a whopping $156 out of $600). They ALWAYS charge you for painting and cleaning, no matter what the condition of the apartment when you move out. I spent 3 days cleaning the apartment before I moved out! Seriously, do not live here. |
